A little bit about me…
I received my MA in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. I emigrated to the US from Switzerland in 2022, and now am a licensed psychotherapist in Michigan. For this purpose I got a second master’s degree in humanistic psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology. On top of being a registered meditation and yoga teacher (RYT-200), I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC). I am also a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, and the Michigan Psychological Association (MPA). At the moment I teach Hatha Yoga at a studio called Zion Well, and I work at the Center for Eating Disorders and Arbor Wellness Center – all located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I approach my clients with curiosity and a non-judgmental attitude. Taking a resource-oriented stance, I aim to help my clients see the potential that is inherently present in them. My focus is on providing a caring and kind space in which clients can befriend their body and heal their relationship with movement. I am a proponent of Health at Every Size and reject diet culture as well as the endless self-improvement trends on social media.
